Our client, a textiles manufacturer, are currently looking for a sewing machinist to join their busy team based just outside Ely.

The main tasks will include:

- Following patterns and drawings to produce sewn items as per the spec

- Work in a neat and tidy fashions following the supervisors training and instruction maintaning good volume and quality of work

- Clean and oil the machones regualry and raise any issues with machiner requiring attention

- Follow all required Health & Safety and Induction guidance ensuring tasks are always carried out safely

To be successful in this role you will need:

- a keen eye for detail and quality is essential

- to be organised and have a methodical approach to tasks

- to be physically able to handle large, heavy products

- to be a good communciator able to work as part of a team and follow instructions

Experience as an industrial machinist ideally using a Lockstich sewing machine would be ideal

Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 7.45am to 4.45pm, Friday 7.45am to 12.45pm

This is a temporary to permanent role with an immediate start.

We have an exciting position to join our client based in Ely as a CAD Operator & Project Support individual to join our project & engineering teams based in Ely, Cambridgeshire. The Role

The successful applicant will undertake the complete design and supply of skid mounted and packaged equipment for the oil, gas and power industries, gas turbine producers and EPC companies.

Experience/Knowledge

• Producing 2D AutoCAD drawings, sketches & layouts.
• Producing drawings such as Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s)
• Generating project documentation using software such as Word, Excel & Adobe Acrobat
• Compilation of Operation & Maintenance Manuals
• Experience with 3D AutoCAD software would be beneficial

Our Client based in Littleport is looking for an Inventory Controller to support their Operations department on a short term temporary basis.

The main duties include:

Timely and accurate receipt and despatch of raw materials and finished products

Support accurate inventory management to enable production planning & support stock integrity in line with KPIs

Maintain FIFO (First in first out) principles and maintain Kanban for the operations team.

You will also require Flexi Forklift Truck certification

This is a temporary position working from Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 4pm and Friday 8.30am to 2pm.

Main duties:

• Clean all areas including staff room/kitchen areas, toilet areas and workshop floor
• Mopping and vacuuming floor areas
• Empty bins

The hours of work are 7.45am to 10.45am, Monday to Thursday (12 hours per week)
